Some would argue the type of tracking that is possible with ring cameras is spyware. Should we adress this issue as such or would it be too subjective ? :I don't think there's any need to squish it into a semantic box - just the actions by themselves are significant enough when laid out like this [[User:Keith|Keith]] ([[User talk:Keith|talk]]) 21:58, 18 October 2025 (UTC) | |||

On the English Wikipedia page of Ring there were four sections which seemed appropriate for this wiki. The citations are now all in the same format, and checked for if they still worked or provided with an archive link if that is not the case. If there are more incidents they can be added, and these should provide some context on the history. InTransparencyWeTrust (talk) 14:13, 8 February 2025 (UTC)
- Are long sourced sections like this appropriate on this website now ? I understand they were made a long time ago when there were much fewer resources, but now with all the activity the website is getting, should we refactor those ? I'd like to have moderator input on this subject. Plankton (talk) 21:45, 18 October 2025 (UTC)
- As stated within the incomplete notice, this should really be rewritten, however I'd say that these long wikipedia quotes, especially since they are properly attributed, are probably better than *not* having them at all, so happy to leave the article in its current state (with both the notice and the quotes) Keith (talk) 21:57, 18 October 2025 (UTC)
