Guys,
I've been invited by Brother in their HQs in France. Their engineers BOASTED in front of me they had decreased the minimal temperature needed for the ink to get liquid. As a result, third-party toners manufacturers' ink does not completely get liquid. This decreases the quality (you see stains) and finally breaks the printer fuser unit. This is very expensive.
I'll never ever purchase a Brother again. [[Special:Contributions/2A01:CB04:695:C700:AD7B:244C:35F4:9193|2A01:CB04:695:C700:AD7B:244C:35F4:9193]] 13:13, 23 October 2025 (UTC)

Brother refutes saying these are false claims

[edit source]

Brother claims this is false. I wonder whether they will fix firmware that confirms it's actually true? Hacker News discussion: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43271507

On purpose sabotage

[edit source]

2A01:CB04:695:C700:AD7B:244C:35F4:9193 13:13, 23 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
