Tim Hortons Inc., also known as Tim's, Timmies or Timmy's, is a Canadian coffee and restaurant chain that is a subsidiary of [[Restaurant Brands International.[1] The company operates worldwide with over 5,500 and contains a net income of $938 million as of 2023.

Collection of geo-location data regardless if app wasn't used (2020)
Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada conducted in investigation in June 2020, releasing its findings on 1 June 2022 that showcased Tim Hortons' mobile app was collecting geo-location data from customers (even if it was turned off). This resulted in a lawsuit that ended with the company being required to delete location data and establish a privacy management program.[2] [3]
