There's an issue with the spam filter at the moment which means that, due to the presence of a restricted word, no-one without advanced persms is able to edit the page.
We're working on a fix, but for now please save any proposed edits for this page in a text editor, and feel free to discuss them here while we work on a fix Keith (talk) 07:44, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
Overbroad page
I think this page steps a bit over the anti-consumer threshold. More precise and descriptive subsection titles ('Bias' is particularly weird) would be useful as well as a more narrow focus which avoids overlapping too much with dark patterns, etc.
I might also suggest changing the page title to 'predatory microtransactions' as this would help to avoid the implication that all microtransactions are automatically anti-consumer. Keith (talk) 18:10, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
- I do have to admit, I was struggling to get some proper ideas for the proper section names to write up, so I am more than welcome to see a better name implemented for this purpose.
