Unknown hackers infiltrated the company's systems through a third party source that allowed access to over 71,000 customers information that includes;^[1]

Amount of Chick-fil-A credits

After several reports came in from customers, Chick-fil-A conducted an investigation in January, finding the approximate date of the attack to be between December 18 and February 12, 2023. In May 2, Chick-fil-A issued a email to affected customers and added "rewards" to affected accounts.^[2]^[3]

False advertised delivery fee and instead raising and adding hidden fee's

Several customers filed a lawsuit against the company for marketing their delivery prices as free or $2.99-3.99 deliveries, however charging customers up to 20-%30 more for delivery orders.^[4]^[5] The lawsuit reached a settlement of $4.4 Million that requires the company give eligible customers $29.25 in cash or gift card transaction.^[6]^[7]
