Flightradar24 Legacy App Shutdown (March 30th 2020)

Flightradar24 announced the shutdown of their legacy mobile application effective March 30th 2020. The legacy application came in different versions, including a free and in paid premium and pro version. Furthermore, some premium features were accessible via a one-time purchase. The new app, while available for free, implemented a subscription model, which was first originally introduced for the website version of the application. The legacy application eventually ceased to function, with consumers losing access of purchased features, which were not honored in the new subscription-based app, though 7 days worth of free subscription was offered.
