To do

Add sources - Add explanation on how Denuvo works - Polish article - Add further relevant info —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dread Pirate Roberts (talk | (contribs) 21 January 2025

Denuvo's servers go down and prevent a single-player game from even being playable.

Page move

I don't believe there is enough material to merit having Denuvo Anti-Tamper and Denuvo Anti-Cheat on separate article pages. Both topics should be unified under the main name of simply Denuvo, which currently exists as a redirect page to DAT. (This is especially made easier with there still being no existing article for DAC.) — Sojourna (talk) 23:27, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Should this still be done or should someone remove the merge request? Andrew V (talk) 02:27, 3 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
I still believe it should be done, however I have no experience with page merging. Perhaps @Keith? — Sojourna (talk) 02:32, 3 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Could this page just be move to Denuvo or would that not work? Andrew V (talk) 02:37, 3 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Luckily, the redirect page had no edit history so I was able to move Denuvo Anti-Tamper over it. — Sojourna (talk) 02:47, 3 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
The main things that need to be considered are changes to the cargo data and article formatting, as presumably it would change into a company article. most of the info from the merged articles would be fine to keep as-is but again might need some restructuring Keith (talk) 12:50, 3 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

More on games

It's been 10 years since Planet Coaster was released. The game still enforces Denuvo despite lacking any online features and the fact that it was already busted wide-open 2 weeks before release.

Similarly one of the famous game cracking groups have stated that the impact of Denuvo on Fable is a 30% performance loss.

There's also been allegations of excessive wear and tear on ssd's when games use Denuvo (unconfirmed, but very possible) 77.105.213.37 22:00, 24 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
