Placeholder for Raven scanners, Starfish Technologies, LLC

in short:

Great Toshiba HW scanners, that used an Amazon cloud service to store and fax, email, or copy to other location. Huge paper and toner saver for businesses still using fax, like Healthcare.

Company goes under, likely due to cost and/or change in Amazon cloud service. They low-key notify customers in Summer 2023 at screen login that the cloud service will stop at end of 2023. During 2023 support becomes non-responsive.

Unfortunately, the fax is now a brick, since it’s dependent on the now, unavailable cloud for most functionality.

Amazon was still selling in early 2024, but seems to have stopped.
