Cricut, Inc. is an American brand of cutting plotters, or motorised cutting machines, designed for home crafters. The machines are used for cutting paper, felt, vinyl, fabric plus materials such as leather, matboard, and wood.
Controversies
In 2020 Cricut tried to change their TOS so that the machine you bought and paid for would now require a subscription if you used it more then 20 times in a month. The backlash was significant enough that they went back on this change, striking through the statement on their website [1]
