Linking to Wikipedia articles

I wonder if it's allowed to link to articles from Wikipedia to help better explain some things, for when there is no other dedicated article on the Consumer Action Taskforce wiki. For example, I came across a sentence on the article (on here) for YouTube, talking about the game of cat and mouse between adblockers and YouTube's bypasses reflecting the Streisand effect. I couldn't remember what it was, so I went to Wikipedia to look up Streisand effect there to remind myself. Could I make it so you can save a few extra clicks by making "Streisand effect" hyperlink to the Wikipedia article on it?
