Two main points:

- Firstly, if we're using DRM in the title, I think we should stick to digital rights management. While digital restrictions management is a term which is favoured by many here, it is not the common and widely accepted term most used by the public. As such, i think it's probably best to use digital rights management in most instances.

- Secondly is the question of article scope. Do we want an article that's just about automakers selling functionality back to the user piecemeal, with a separate article covering other aspects of car-related DRM (e.g. computer systems which are inaccessible to repairmen, the ability to remotely disable the car, etc.), or do we want one single theme article that fully covers the ways in which DRM can affect cars? If it's the former, then we should probably rename the article to something more specific Keith (talk) 12:22, 21 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
