Why is this article not called "Online Whaling"

While i love this article ; online whaling is definetly a subject that deserves to be in this wiki, I dont think the title is correct. For consistency and searchability purposes, i believe this article should be titled "Whaling" or "Online Whaling" or "digital whaling" or something like that. The title "Dont take the bait" doesnt provide searchability nor does it accuratly describe the subject. Plankton (talk) 18:12, 15 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

As much as I agree with having an article concerning the predatory practice that began gaining traction in the early 2010s (Candy Crush Saga being a prominent example), I believe the usage of LLM is too pervasive to salvage it. It may be simpler to use some WP:TNT. And looking at the page's history, I was not the only one with this view. — Sojourna (talk) 00:18, 18 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
