Mercado Libre, also known as Mercado Livre in Brazil, is a multi-national e-commerce platform of Argentinian origin, founded on 02 August 1999, by Marcos Galperin. It is a very popular platform through Latin America, operating in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
