Company co founded by Larry Ellison

Purchased Cerner, a large international supplier of health information. Using AI the company automates, or has the intention to automate, every aspect of hospitals, insurance, treatment, etc. using your private medical records.

Speculation: Notably Larry Ellison mentions automating insurance and payment, possibly alluding to hiking insurance rates or giving insurance companies the ability to discriminate against vulnerable individuals or specific treatments as a whole by analyzing trends within the data. One such company could bypass the intentions of HIPAA and sell identifiable medical data exploiting a loophole in what data is allowed to be sold. that loophole being that 18 aspects of the data must be removed in order to make the data anonymous and unable to be traced back to the individual however that does not adequately anonymize the data and it often is sufficient to trace back to the individual that it came from.

There has already been one death caused in part by these systems made by Oracle in 2024
