Talk:Proton Mail
Add topicMore nuance needed?
[edit source]The claim on this page that Proton's policy for IP logging "proved to be false" is inaccurate. Proton's website said that no IP addresses are logged by default. While this could be described as confusing or misleading, the situation mentioned in that section does not seem to directly contradict the original written policy. - It might say by default, but the user might have been using default settings Andrew V (talk) 01:42, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
- I think if you can find sources you can change it Andrew V (talk) 01:45, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
Should some of this be moved to the "Proton" page.
[edit source]I feel like some of the stuff on this page isn't specific to proton mail, and effects all of proton's services Andrew V (talk) 01:48, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
Article should be merged with Proton
[edit source]Proton Mail is a stub as-is while Proton is incomplete, and the service is one of many of Proton's offerings. I think the content here should be included as a subheading of Proton which would kill two birds with one stone. Another benefit is that if there are any other product-specific incidents with Proton's offerings in the future, there won't be any need to create a new stub article, it can simply all be included in one place under Proton.
