Warning[edit source]
Hello and welcome to the wiki. This is a warning for your edit to the Article Suggestions page, as there are no consumer rights issues with the description for DriveSavers. If you make similar advertisement edits again your account might be blocked from editing the wiki. We’ve had issues with advertisements being posted to the wiki through articles, so if there is an underline issue with DriveSavers, please make it abundantly clear. - I think this may have been a case of misunderstanding @MeatMystery's intentions, and in any case we've come out the gates way too guns blazing with the warning. I believe the edit was in good faith, and apologise for any offence caused as a result of the abrupt warning. I've reinstated the edit in the list, with a clarifying sentence about its relevance to the wiki.
- I hope this doesn't discourage you from contributing in the future, and again, sorry about the mess! Keith (talk) 16:06, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, I apologize for not wording my message better. In regards to DriveSavers, there isn't much media coverage on the company besides promotional articles for data recovery services in (insert year here). I would recommend you read the Inclusion Guidelines to get a better feel for what types of topics should be considered for the wiki (ones covered on one or more media sources). For future reference, please include an externally sourced reference in new article suggestions and clarify why the company violates consumer rights so a page on the company can have a higher chance of consideration.
