AEG Power Tools 58V Product Line Discontinuation

In 2024 AEG Power Tools, a subsidiary of Techtronic Industries (TTI) and sold in the United States as Ridgid[1], discontinued their 58V product line. The remaining stock is still being sold without warning that it is impossible to obtain a battery and at near new prices. There does not appear to be any rebates for customers who own tools in this line to switch over to their other product lines. [2]

AEG Discontinued their entire 58V line of power tools, choosing to focus on their FORCE TABLESS battery and tool line instead. Customers with 58V equipment have been left without any way to purchase batteries for their equipment and are forced to purchase new equipment without any rebates or trade-ins.
