Vont (also known as Vont Innovations) is an American company that produces smart electronics for consumers, ranging from headlamps to digital kitchen scales to plugs and security cameras.[2]

Around the start of 2024, the Vont Home app (used for management) disappeared from both the Apple App Store and Google Play. Users that had the app prior to its de-listing reported receiving a "failed to connect to server" error upon attempting to login (and thus unable to use their product as intended), and the company website itself being down.[3][4]

As of 5 November 2025, there has been no activity since late-2022 to early-2023 on the company's social media accounts for Facebook,[5] Instagram,[6] and X (formerly Twitter).[7] The official website returns a 522 error code via Cloudflare. Vont still has an Amazon storefront,[8] though it lists only one product on the page (Vont Smart Security Camera).[9]

Curiously, there is another website using the both the company name and logo under the domain name "thevont" — which also has external links to the same social accounts and Amazon storefront ID.[10]

  • The wordmark, according to the United States Patent and Trademarks Office, has been registered to a company operating out of Hong Kong since 12 July 2022.[11] <-- Try to find a workable archive service, I really don't want to download or screenshot this.
  • The second website URL was registered 22 January 2025,[12] with Spaceship, Inc. acting as the registrar agent. Spaceship. Inc. is a domain registrar located in Phoenix, Arizona.[13]
