AEG Power Tools had a 58V product line, which they discontinued at the end of 2024. The remaining stock is still being sold at near new prices[update needed] and without warning that it is impossible to obtain a battery.[1][citation needed - Personal account] AEG Power Tools is a subsidiary of Techtronic Industries (TTI) and sold in the U.S. as Ridgid.[2]
Consumer-impact summary
There does not appear to be any rebates for customers who own tools in this line to switch over to their other product lines. Customers with 58V equipment have been left without any way to purchase batteries for their equipment and are forced to purchase new equipment without any rebates or trade-ins.[1]
