So let's say you've got an article 100% in scope, and are ready to make it, but have no idea on what the content should remotely look like even after reading Consumer Rights Wiki:Write your first article!. This should hopefully give you some pointers on how articles should look.

Lead section

Summarizes the subject of the article/product (line)/incident. Can be similar to Background section, but they cannot be duplicated (background should go into more detail).

Background (used in Incidents)

Basically just the story behind the product/company talked about.

Consumer Impact Summary (used in Companies/Product (line)s)

Summary of some key points. Example:

  • User Privacy: They sell consumers data to third parties.
  • User Freedom: Consumers have to connect to an app, offering limited functionality.
