Name change

[edit source]

Hey there, I know this is the listed product name, but it might be ideal to switch it to be something more easy to search up on the wiki. May I suggest the format "[company name] [generic part name] - [listed part name]"? JamesTDG (talk) 22:11, 27 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Can you provide me with an example of a name? As I'm afraid I didn't quite get that. SinexTitan (talk) 22:18, 27 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

12VHPWR

[edit source]

that's the title that Wikipedia uses for the same article. when I initially created the article I used both the name of the OG spec and its revision. hence I assume the request to change the title. I'd like to migrate it to 12VHPWR as I find it to be less vague than "PCIe power connector design linked to melting GPU cables". SinexTitan (talk) 17:54, 17 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

The issue with it is that it'd be very confusing/annoying for a reader to try and understand what an article is about using only the title. I've made a redir pointing to here so people looking for that will find it here. AnotherConsumerRightsPerson (talk) 18:56, 17 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
thanks for the redirect. the reason I brought it up's cuz if I search 12VHPWR it doesn't show up in the search box, so someone who knows abt the incident but would like to learn more has to find this exact article. which can be doable as 12VHPWR is kinda ubiquitous with Nvidia and has the incident mentioned. but I get it. our mission is to make it real easy for anybody no matter their knowledge on any subject matter to comprehend.
