Controversies[edit | edit source]

Netatmo does not provide a local API to access data from its products. Data must pass through Netatmo's cloud before being accessible. This practice results in delayed updates, reduced security, and a lack of data ownership.

Netatmo currently does not have a plan to introduce local API.[1]
