Red Robin sending unsolicited texts (2018)

New Jersey resident John Geraci filed a lawsuit in 2018 against Red Robin for violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991, sending promotional messages to customers even after the customers replied "Stop".^[2]^[3]

Geraci requested dismissal of the lawsuit on 11 June 2021, which was granted three days later on 14 June.^[4]

Stella Artois false advertising lawsuit (2020)

In June 2020, a lawsuit was filed against Red Robin for allegedly lying to customers about contents containing 16 ounces instead of the product containing 14 ounces. On 10 November 2022, the case reached a settlement of $450,000, requiring Red Robin to compensate customers who ordered a small sized Stella Artois between 25 June 2017 and 21 July 2022, $3 for each purchase up to $15.^[5]^[6]^[7]
