Ekkorr games is a mobile game company based in Korea. Founded in 2011, they released multiple games throughout the years including Endless Frontier. on 2018-09-03 the mobile game, Endless frontier, had included a direct connection to the community made Discord via a clickable icon in the settings menu, thus roping in an independent community into the Terms and Use of Endless Frontier without consent.
Incident[edit | edit source]
On 2018-09-03 The community made Discord was included in the game, thus imposing copyright and moderation at Ekkorr 's will without consent of the community group. Any ideas are owned by Ekkorr, any user made content is the property of Ekkorr under these imposed terms of use.
Section 4. User Content and User Interaction:
You acknowledge and agree that Ekkorr May moderate, monitor, review, and record any User content that you post, transmit, or make available on or through the Services and may, without prior notice to you and in its sole judgement, remove User Content for any or no reason, at any time. The Service may include various forums, blogs and chat features where you can post User Content, including your own observations and comments on designated topics...Ekkorr cannot guarantee that other members will not use the ideas and information that you share...Ekkorr shall have no responsibility to evaluate, use or compensate you for any ideas or information you may chose to submit.
Section 2. License:
Ekkorr owns, has licensed or otherwise hast the right to use all of the content and materials that appear in the Ekkorr Service, including, without limitation, designs, text, graphics, pictures, video, information... other files... By using the Ekkorr Service, or by accessing any materials posted on the Ekkorr Service by Ekkorr, or derivative works thereof, you acknowledge that you do not acquire any ownership rights.
Community Made resources include a user made 200 page game guide, proposed game features, User made Tools , and hundreds of other materials within the Game's Discord all of which are under ownership of Ekkorr games.

None as of recorded. The company has been unresponsive to any forms of communication as of April 2025.
Consumer response[edit | edit source]
Users have made separate Discords and private channels within the Discord to protect their user made content. User made content still exists in the in-game linked Discord.
