NewAir's user manual for this product is phrased in a way that would lead a consumer to believe they are purchasing a product that can be repaired and maintained if something breaks (refer to image). If you contact customer support outside of your warranty with questions about how to repair/replace, these are their responses

Why does the user manual says "The unit can still work, change to a new sensor", and why this part is unavailable?	I am sorry but it would be an oversight in the manual. It should have read similar to ( A sensor issue - Contact customer service )
Has this part ever been available to be purchased on your website?	The part has never been available since the product was launched - the prompt for replacing the part was to be omitted
Is the manual referring to a generic temperature sensor that can be used?	the prompt for replacing the part was to be omitted - we are not aware of any aftermarket parts that would be compatible, nor would we provide instructions on how to replace it - if you were to acquire it
