Hi everyone, I need your help with a legal issue, time is of the essence here.

I work in the public sector in Europe, and the price increase of VMware since the Broadcom takeover is a disaster for the budgets of the sector.

So I kindly ask all of you, that are willing, to extend this page with worldwide evidence that the price increase is not legal, and add instances where courts have ruled against Broadcom.

That way, I know the arguments that can be used in the American legal system, as well as the legal action that can be taken in Europe.

It could lead to a video covering this matter: as of today I personally know institutions that suddenly need to be paying extra figures that go into the millions of euros/dollars.

Any help is helpful, because let's be realistic: moving large institutions to open-source solutions like Proxmox are not realistic on a small time scale.

The public sector is already under a lot of pressure where I live, so any help against this helps. InTransparencyWeTrust (talk) 13:36, 6 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
