JRNY is an "adaptive fitness membership" provided by BowFlex that is facilitated by their Android-equipped fitness hardware.[1]

Privacy

  • The BowFlex privacy policy includes an EULA Roofie where the user must opt out of the sale of their data.

Template:HoverImportantBowFlex collects biometric information and will disclose it to "third parties who may acquire your information as a result of a merger, acquisition or other ownership transition."[2]

Freedom

  • JRNY service includes digital rights management, which restricts access to stock Android features, like installing apps.
  • Even with a JRNY subscription, you are limited to a small subset of streaming platform applications.
  • BowFlex includes Forced Arbitration in their EULA [3]
