Amazon revokes access to their Appstore on non-Amazon devices

In August of 2025, Amazon revoked access to the Amazon App Store on all non-Amazon Android devices. Customers will now be required to purchase Amazon hardware[1], such as Fire TV or Fire Tablet, if they wish to use the applications they own.
