ASTM International's press release of August 28, 2026 on its role in additive manufacturing policy, stating that its staff, including the AM CoE team, do not write standards and that its additive manufacturing technologies committee F42 has not yet considered the development of voluntary consensus standards related to public safety protections on illegally printed 3D parts.
