  • 3MP, 4MP, 1080p Resolution

Consumer-impact summary

[edit | edit source]

The RBX-B10 is advertised on Amazon as "Support SD card(Max 128G) and cloud storage option"[4] however, connection to the cloud is not an option. The device will not record events triggered by motion without a network connection, even for users without a cloud subscription and with an SD Card inserted.

The RBX-B10 is manufactured by Shenzen Anboqi Technology Co. Ltd.[5] Anboqi are heavily vertically integrated and produce 5 million cameras annually. They go as far as packaging their own integrated circuits, which is unusual and may be to obfuscate device functionality to any third party except the foundry.

Several FCC documents are available for devices certified for sale in the US.[6] Many of these documents are cosigned by "Benjamin Smith" a representative of JOC Australia Inc. a California-based incorporation.[7] It is unclear whether JOC Australia Inc. may be related to JOC Australia Pty. Ltd. a global supply chain wholesaler for agricultural products with a processing facility in Shanghai.[8][9]
