It seems like this article is describing an issue which has arisen more as a result of incompetence/poor design than malice. This is one of those situations where, if we documented it on the wiki every time a company poorly implemented something which had the potential to cause an issue for a subset of vulnerable users, it would represent major scope creep for the wiki and would represent an overly broad view of what is suitable for the wiki.
