Jabra, the professional audio brand of GN Store Nord, publishes step by step headband cushion replacement guides for its Evolve3 85 and Evolve3 75 business headsets whose first page states that the headband cushion is not available as a standalone replacement part.[1][2] The same page states that the guide is intended for TCO Certification purposes.[1]

Consumer-impact summary

Jabra is a brand of GN Store Nord A/S, a company registered in Ballerup, Denmark under company registration number 24257843.[7] GN's annual report states that the group was founded in 1869 by the Danish industrialist C.F. Tietgen, employs more than 7,500 people worldwide and serves customers in 100 countries.[7] The group reports through Hearing, Enterprise and Gaming divisions, and recorded revenue of DKK 16,782 million in 2025.[8] GN's report calls Jabra the only enterprise-grade audio-video specialist brand and features the Evolve3 series as a product highlight of the year.[9]

Evolve3 85 headband cushion availability

Jabra publishes a six page Headband Replacement Guide for the Evolve3 85 on its own support site, and lists it alongside a battery repair guide and an ear cushion replacement guide in its repair guide library.[10] Page 1 of that guide carries a block headed "Disclaimer" which states:

It provides instructions for disassembling and replacing the headband cushion component of your headset. However, the headband cushion is not available as a standalone replacement part. This documentation is intended to support professional repair and recycling efforts and does not imply availability of individual components for consumer purchase.

Page 3 lists the equipment the procedure requires, 1x replacement headband padding and 1x spudger, and page 4 opens with the line Ensure you have the replacement part before starting disassembly.[11] The document names no part number, order code, dealer or service channel for obtaining the cushion; its only pointer is the page 1 line Contact Jabra Support for guidance before attempting self-repair on your device.[12]

Jabra's battery repair guide and ear cushion replacement guide for the same headset carry no disclaimer of this kind, and Jabra sells both of those parts.[13][14][3]

TCO Certified generation 10 for headsets requires a brand owner to publish a free service manual covering critical replaceable components, and lists the headband among those components for headsets.[15] Criterion 6.4.1 requires that The battery must be available for anyone to purchase during the validity of the certificate.[16] The headband carries no equivalent purchase requirement anywhere in the document.[17] TCO Certified's product register lists the Evolve3 85 under certificate H1025120001, certified December 28, 2025 and valid to December 28, 2027.[18]


GN's 2025 annual report describes the two routes separately in its repairability accounting policy, counting spare-parts availability to end users for batteries and ear cushions, and for headbands, speakers, microphones, PCBAs or camera modules where relevant counting whether the component can be accessed and removed without specialized tools by our Global Repair Center.[19]

Jabra's business warranty terms give the Evolve3 family two (2) years from the date the products have been purchased, and exempt limited-life wear parts including headbands, ear cushions and removable batteries from warranty except for components supplied with products certified with TCO Certified generation 10.[20] The same terms state that the warranty terminates immediately if the product is altered, repaired, or maintained by anyone other than GN or a GN Partner which is authorized to do GN warranty work, whether or not successful.[20]

  • Jabra Evolve3 85, an over-ear wireless business headset announced January 21, 2026 and sold from March 1, 2026 at a list price of €569 / $649.[6]
  • Jabra Evolve3 75, the on-ear model in the same series, sold from March 1, 2026 at a list price of €399 / $463.[6]
  • Earlier Jabra business headset lines include Evolve and Evolve2, on whose success Jabra says the Evolve3 series builds, plus Engage, Biz 2400, PRO 900, PRO 9400 and Perform 75, for several of which Jabra sells headband padding as a spare part.[6][5]
