How it works

Money is no longer sufficient to pay for many services, including insurance, banking, and the process of buying a house. The businesses selling these services also require their customers to agree to have their personal information sold to or shared with data brokers. The business may include a convoluted way to partially opt out, but frequently there is no way to prevent the sale of this personal information.
