On 1 July 2026, TV Time announced through a notification that it would be shutting down on 15 July 2026.

The notification read:

TV Time is Coming to an End

After many incredible years, we've made the difficult decision to discontinue TV Time. The service will end after July 15, 2026.

While we loved supporting TV Time, it was no longer sustainable to continue operating the service as a free app and there was not enough demand for a paid app.
