About Me

Hello, I am Uhm-Why. I have been a hobbyist software developer since the age of 8. I love anything to do with computers (coding, networking, hardware, you name it). It all started when I was using America Online (AOL) on my grandpa's Windows Millennium Edition computer and found the "View Source" button. Realizing all of the wonderful things you can do with code, I immediately started digging deeper. It became somewhat of an obsession. I started developing my own websites and seeing how far I could go with HTML and JavaScript.

Fast forward to Middle/High School, and I was learning how to code in BASIC and C. Later, I took college courses on C, Java and Python. From High School until now, I have been programming in various programming languages, including C, C++, Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, Rust and many others.

In my early 20's, I learned of Linux and Open-Source Software. Naturally, this led me into the world of Consumer Rights. I immediately switched over to Linux and have been using it as a daily-driver for about 6 years. Eventually, I stumbled upon one of Louis Rossmann's videos and started a personal deep-dive into the world of the right to repair and how many company's seem to strive to take away or rights in order to make more profit.
