Possible inclusion? - The homemade firearm scene

[edit source]

If you track the posts from Brazil police raids, you would notice a lot of 3D printed guns, but more importantly, for the lower-end gangs, they have low-effort 3D models also involved. Included is one of my preferred homemade gun repositories that can be referenced for other geometric false positives.

A hefty amount of examples from this website I would like to highlight

Gun smuggling methods - fake labubus and peculiar lunchboxes. I find the Hell 'O' Kitty to be notable since it looks a lot like a generic lunch pail on first glance, despite this being a transforming firearm akin to those suitcase guns.

3D Printed magazine springs - Mostly notable because look at how simple of a mechanism this is disassembled. This zigzag method could be easily abused as hidden infill in a model.

Generic shaped firearms - While the first example was actually welded from metal parts, this PAM-2 serves as a good example as to how simple the design of a gun can get, those blocky elements alone serve as a great method to bypass traditional detection algorithms expecting illegal firearms to match the shape of existing firearms. The Decker 380 is another good example, and this one IS 3D printed!

Zip guns - Included to demonstrate how simple these can get, I mean seriously, a metal tube, something to strike the bullet, and something elastic to give it velocity on return. Can't get any simpler with a zip gun, and why you can't design anything to defeat this.

Pump shotty - Another example of simple firearms, and this is just made from bike frame parts welded together.

Kneecappers - Not really relevant to the article, but I just want to show it off since people mod cheap center punches for this job

Ryno 22s - A fully original 3D printed revolver design, and you can deconstruct various ways to change it, plus pre-sliced files are already out on the market... JamesTDG (talk) 12:00, 3 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Corner Brackets

[edit source]

The shape stuff can get really stupid really quickly especially if they use Ai logic.

This is from Gemini on a search I did looking at brackets for fun after watching your latest video.

This gcode would be very similar as the path for the bracket would match the outline of a gun.

AI Overview

A corner bracket (often called an L-bracket) is indeed L-shaped, similar to the grip and barrel of a handgun. This shape gives it the structural strength needed to reinforce 90-degree joints, such as those on shelves, cabinets, and tables.
