In summer of 2025, Congstar removed support for their web portal.[2] After concluding a contract with Congstar, new customers receive an e-mail with the text "Die App benötigst du zwingend, um deinen Anschluss nutzen zu können."[3] (Translation: You forcibly require the app to use your connection"). This app is available only from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.[4]
