MediaWiki SyntaxHighlight Extension Not Installed/Configured

[edit source]

I noticed that there are several templates on the Consumer Rights Wiki that attempt to surround wikicode that is meant to be formatted in plain text with <syntaxhighlight>...</syntaxhighlight>.

According to the Wikipedia Code Template, you must have the mw:Extension:SyntaxHighlight installed and configured according to the Installation Instructions.

It states:

This extension comes with MediaWiki 1.21 and later, so you do not need to download it. The remaining configuration instructions must still be followed.

If there is a reason that this extension was not enabled, you can use <code>...</code> blocks instead. Uhm-Why (talk) 05:20, 10 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
